Serving Greenwich, CT
For Greenwich-area luxury vehicle shoppers who expect superior features and solid engineering from their next vehicle, the 2023 BMW X5 and the 2023 BMW X7 are standout options. The X5, which was BMW’s first crossover SUV, has an optional third row. Meanwhile, third-row seating is standard for the larger BMW X7. Our BMW of Greenwich associates are excited to support your full comparison of these elite models.
Performance
Three powertrain systems are available across the 2023 X5’s trim line. These include a turbo V6, a 335-horsepower engine, and a 389-horsepower plug-in hybrid variation of this V6 engine. The X5’s most powerful engine is a 4.4-liter turbo, V8 gas system that gives you 523 horsepower behind the wheel. The 2023 BMW X7 comes with two engine possibilities. These are a turbo 3.3-liter, I-6, 375-horsepower engine and the same 523-horsepower, V8 engine available with the 2023 X5.
Appearance
The BMW X5 has been exquisitely styled to reflect both sophistication and power. Its long hood and contoured sides have linear accents to produce a sense of motion. The rear fenders have a boxy definition, and a small air vent is placed near the front fender. In addition to having BMW’s kidney-style grille, the X5 is also designed with sharply angled accents on the front air vents and decadent, LED-outlined headlights. The BMW X7 is taller, with angled contouring and black molding on the sides. The grille is taller, and the bumper and air vents are larger and more aggressive. The LED headlights stand out with their two-part, slender design.
Features
While specific available or standard features vary by trim, the 2023 X5 and X7 share many features. Some of these are leather upholstery, a four-zone climate control system, parking sensors, a wireless charging pad, a wireless internet hotspot, heated seats in the first two rows, massaging elements for the front seats, a glass roof with LED lighting, Apple CarPlay with Android Auto and others. The 2023 X7 is outfitted with a larger infotainment screen, an upgraded sound system, heating and cooling functions for the cupholders, second-row captain’s chairs, a more advanced climate management system, and several other enhancements.
