The 2024 BMW X1 remains a leading choice in the subcompact crossover SUV category, continuing as one of the more compact options in the crossover lineup. Building on the bold redesign introduced in 2023, the 2024 model brings additional enhancements. Notably, the new M35i xDrive trim makes its debut, featuring a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 312 horsepower, along with high-performance brakes and an adaptive suspension system. The entry-level X1 xDrive28i continues with its 241-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The 2024 X1 M35i xDrive showcases a distinctive exterior with black trim, quad tailpipes, a sportier grille, and more prominent front air intakes. The overall design of the 2024 BMW X1 is striking, with its tall profile, short, angled nose, and deep, well-defined contours. The front features a slightly squared-off version of BMW’s iconic kidney grille, complemented by a tall lower fascia and L-shaped air intakes. Enhanced headlights with angled LED bars further highlight the vehicle’s aesthetics.
