The 2024 BMW X3 is a meticulously designed and engineered vehicle that strikes a perfect balance between practical functionality, premium features, and exhilarating performance. This compact two-row crossover comfortably seats five passengers and is available in three trim levels. In 2024, all X3 trims remain unchanged from their predecessors.
The primary distinction among the 2024 X3 trims lies in their powertrains. A 248-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine propels the base X3 sDrive30i trim. It comes with rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The mid-level X3 xDrive30i features the same engine and transmission but offers standard all-wheel drive. The top-tier X3 M40i trim boasts an eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and a V6, 3.0-liter engine with mild-hybrid technology, delivering an impressive 382 horsepower. This trim is also equipped with a performance rear differential. Opting for the Dynamic Handling package adds adaptive steering, adaptive suspension with dampers, and enhanced brakes to the 2024 BMW X3’s capabilities.
The X3 sDrive30i and X3 xDrive30i trims share comparable standard and optional features, including a power liftgate, push-button ignition, synthetic leather upholstery, front and rear parking sensors, auto-dimming mirrors, a 12-speaker stereo system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, a wireless internet connection, a 10.25-inch digital instrument screen, a panoramic sunroof, frontal collision mitigation, a lane departure warning, and a blind-spot alert.
