What’s New for the 2024 BMW XM?
The 2024 BMW XM builds on the success of its 2023 debut, continuing to electrify the market with its captivating design and premium features. While entering its second year in 2024, the XM brings exciting updates, including introducing the XM Red Line version. This enhanced trim level features bold red accents and interior and exterior improvements. The star of the show is the robust plug-in hybrid engine found in the XM Red Line, delivering a remarkable 738 horsepower and sprinting from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.7 seconds. The standard plug-in hybrid engine from the 2023 model year remains available, producing 644 horsepower and achieving a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds. The XM and XM Red Line feature active anti-roll bars, adaptive dampers, and a coil-spring suspension.
The exterior of the XM Red Line flaunts distinctive red accents but maintains a similar look between the 2023 and 2024 models. The XM stands out from other BMW models with its aggressive, angular profile, sharp corners, and stylish accents. The flat and sleek hood cascades gracefully to connect with the black grille, which offers a modern twist on BMW’s iconic kidney-shaped design. Angular air vents and linear LED headlights complement the grille’s sharp corners. The lower doors are boldly accented, and the rear haunches are strikingly flared.
Step inside the BMW XM’s interior, and you’ll discover a captivating design, including a curved housing for the driver’s gauges and the central display screen. The edgy exterior design carries over into the cabin with uniquely shaped air vents and center stack housing. The two-row interior is luxuriously appointed and boasts a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond sound system with illuminated tweeters, fiber optic lighting in the suede headliner, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless hotspot, iDrive 8.5 technology, wireless smart device connectivity, SiriusXM, heated seats, and more. The 2024 XM is also equipped with advanced safety technologies, such as lane centering, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and a lane departure warning.
