What’s New for the 2025 BMW X6?
The sporty BMW X6 benefited from a stunning refresh in 2024, but that has not kept the automaker from updating it further in 2025. This midsize luxury SUV is a mid-generation version that stands out on the road with its fastback design, and it is equally impressive from behind the wheel.
In 2025, the X6’s Driving Assistance Professional Package now includes hands-free driving assistance. The base trim level will also have active lane change as a standard feature. This feature lets you start the lane change process by looking at the side mirrors. Another update for 2025 is the BMW Digital Key Plus, which adjusts the steering wheel and seat positions as you approach the vehicle. There are also enhancements to the My BMW App and BMW Maps navigation.
The 2025 BMW X6’s performance capabilities are unchanged. The X6 xDrive40i boasts a turbo 3.0-liter, inline-six engine. This system offers 375 horsepower with 398 pound-feet of torque. The M60i xDrive features a turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. All X6 SUVs come with an adaptive suspension, an eight-speed auto transmission, and standard all-wheel drive.
The X6’s style is remarkably sleek yet defined. The fastback-style roof is accompanied by a long, swooping hood and streaming side contouring. On the front end, the X6 has sharp styling with a small, two-part grille, a flared fender and tall air vents. The sleek LED headlights have a dual element for added sophistication. Exterior features that are standard or available include cornering lights, 20 to 22-inch wheels and soft-close doors.
Standard features for the 2025 X6 are a digital instrument panel, a panoramic sunroof, a push-button ignition, Apple CarPlay, Android Audio, a 10-speaker sound system, heated front seats, a 14.9-inch infotainment system screen, a navigation system and wireless charging. The higher trim level and optional packages are available with a Harman Kardon sound system, a sport steering wheel, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, lane centering, a front-cross-traffic warning, gesture control, LED lighting on the sunroof, augmented video for the navigation system, a 360-degree camera, a four-zone climate control system, and more.
