2025 BMW 3 Series vs 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Serving Greenwich, CT

For years, elite drivers in the Greenwich area have debated between the BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. These luxury compact sedans both receive updates for the 2025 model year. What should you know about the 2025 3 Series and the C-Class before making your next purchase?

Performance

Two trim levels are offered for the 2025 3 Series. The 330i comes with a turbo four-cylinder system that delivers 255 horsepower. It features an eight-speed auto transmission and your choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The M340i is outfitted with a 386-horsepower, turbo V6 unit featuring mild-hybrid tech. It adds a sport differential, sport brakes, and a sport suspension.

The C-Class has three powertrains. These start with a similar turbo four-cylinder, 255-horsepower engine as the 3 Series has. The more powerful gas engine is a performance-tuned turbo four-cylinder engine. The C-Class is also available with a plug-in hybrid, turbo 2.0-liter engine that features a nine-speed auto transmission.

Appearance

The gorgeous 2025 BMW 3 Series has a sporty look with statement-making contouring streaming across the sides and sleek curves across the profile. The nose displays a short, stretched version of the kidney-style grille design. It sits above a powerful, dark fascia. The headlights each have a pair of hook-like LED accents, and they are mounted over deep air inlets.

The C Series has a classic sedan look with a taller profile and a raked rear. The sides are relatively smooth except for a pinstripe accent that runs just below the windows. The wide grille is styled with vertical accent bars and trends downward on the sides. The lower fascia is minimized by the grand size of the air inlets. The headlights are pointed at both ends and show off an upper LED bar.

Features

If you select the 3 Series as your next luxury sedan, you could enjoy niceties on the road like active lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, a heated steering wheel, parking sensors, keyless entry, a premium sound system, wireless smartphone integration, forward collision mitigation, a curved display screen featuring a 14.9-inch display for the infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s panel, a sunroof, and so much more.

The C-Class has standard features like wireless smartphone app connections, heated front seats, forward collision sensing, an 11.9-inch touch display screen, safe exit assist, and a drowsy driver monitor.
